GymPal Connect privacy policy

Effective 14 October 2026. This policy covers GymPal Connect, the service at mcp.getgympal.com that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Grok look up GymPal listings. The GymPal app itself is covered by the GymPal privacy policy.

What GymPal Connect does

GymPal Connect is read-only. When you ask your assistant something like "find a strength coach in Chelsea", the assistant sends GymPal Connect the search details you asked about (for example a neighborhood, an activity, a price limit or a date range). GymPal Connect returns public listing information. It cannot book, pay, message, or change anything in your GymPal account, and it does not sign you in.

What we collect

We do not ask for, and do not receive, your name, email, account or payment details through GymPal Connect. We receive only the tool request your assistant sends (the tool name and its search parameters). Our hosting provider records standard technical logs for each request (time, IP address, user agent, response status), which we use to keep the service secure and working. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant.

What information is returned

Only information that GymPal trainers and circle hosts have published for discovery in the app: trainer first names (never last names), headlines, bios, specialties, years of experience, the neighborhoods and gyms they work in, their active services and prices, and open booking times; circle names, activities, neighborhoods, descriptions and next meetup times; and live class times, prices and seats left. Inactive profiles are never returned. We never return exact addresses, meeting points, members' profiles, contact details, messages, health information, or payment information.

How information is used and shared

Search parameters are used only to answer the request. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of you. Results are sent back to the AI assistant you are using, which handles them under its own privacy policy. Our service providers are Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database), which process data on our behalf.

Retention

GymPal Connect stores no request data in our database. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) and then deleted.

Your choices

You can remove GymPal from your assistant at any time in that assistant's connector or app settings. Trainers and hosts control what is listed: turning off a profile, service or circle in the GymPal app removes it from GymPal Connect immediately.

Audience and age

GymPal Connect provides general-audience listing information only: trainers, their services and open times, run clubs, circles and classes. It contains no dating, messaging, member profiles or mature content, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Creating a GymPal account, booking or paying requires the GymPal app and an account holder who is 18 or older. GymPal Connect is not directed to children under 13.
